Confidential Confidential Magnolia, AR Magnolia, AR Contract Contract $65,000 - $80,000 a year $65,000 - $80,000 a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT JOB SUMMARY This position requires the overseeing of day-to-day operations of the construction site, including planning, scheduling and coordinating work assignments with contractors and stakeholders.
The Construction superintendent must ensure all work is performed in compliance with construction plans, specifications and applicable codes, and that all safety policies and procedures are followed on the construction site.
They also monitor and report progress of construction activities, communicate with project stakeholders, resolve any issues or conflicts that arise, and maintain accurate records of construction activities.
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Supervising and managing all construction activities on site, including planning, scheduling and organizing work assignments Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that all work is completed on schedule and within budget Ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with the constructions plans, specifications and applicable codes Monitoring and reporting progress of construction activities, and identifying potential delays or problems that may impact the project timeline Managing project budgets and ensuring that all expenses are accounted for Hiring and training construction workers as needed Ensuring all safety policies and procedures are followed on the construction site Communicating with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers and inspectors, to ensure all parties are informed of project status and any issues that arise Resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process Maintaining accurate and detailed records of construction activities, including daily reports, progress reports and change orders Ensuring that all construction equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
Overseeing quality control procedures and ensuring that all work meets the required standards REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in construction management civil engineering, or related trade is preferred (relevant work experience may be excepted in lieu of a degree) Construction
