Ensure compliance with all safety policies within the unit- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements within the unit- Ensure all product leaving the unit meets or exceeds the customers' expectations- Actively support the company's safety, environmental, and quality programs to ensure continuous improvement- Lead Management of Change process for the Unit- Identify, document, & implement cost reduction initiatives- Track & improve Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)- Manage staff - Employee performance and development- Provide technical support for the unit- Investigate incidents using Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) with a focus on prevention of future incidents- Identify and properly handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with all regulatory agency and company requirements- Improve & maintain process documentation- Develop Operators, including oversight of unit training, communication, and discipline, to provide a safe & productive work environment- Develop Shift Team Leaders & Unit Coordinators to their full potential Essential Qualifications:
- 3 to 10 years of experience in the Chemical Industry- Direct experience working in plant operations that run 24/7, 365- Working understanding of OSHA (lock out tag out, energy isolation, etc.
) and EPA regulations- Proven leadership competence with people management experience- Good time management, organizational skills, problem solving, project management and decision making skills- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
