Operations Engineer

Job Description
Ensure compliance with all safety policies within the unit
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements within the unit
Ensure all product leaving the unit meets or exceeds the customers' expectations
Actively support the company's safety, environmental, and quality programs to ensure continuous improvement
Lead Management of Change process for the Unit
Identify, document, & implement cost reduction initiatives
Track & improve Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
Manage staff - Employee performance and development
Provide technical support for the unit
Investigate incidents using Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) with a focus on prevention of future incidents
Identify and properly handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with all regulatory agency and company requirements
Improve & maintain process documentation
Develop Operators, including oversight of unit training, communication, and discipline, to provide a safe & productive work environment
Develop Shift Team Leaders & Unit Coordinators to their full potential
Requirements
3 to 10 years of experience in the Chemical Industry
Direct experience working in plant operations that run 24/7, 365
Working understanding of OSHA (lock out tag out, energy isolation, etc.) and EPA regulations
Proven leadership competence with people management experience
Good time management, organizational skills, problem solving, project management and decision making skills
Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in operations/production managing multiple manufacturing production plants or units

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
