Project Superintendent, Field Supervision

Summary: Field Supervisor of capital projects.  Provides oversight of capital projects crew to ensure safe quality work completed in a timely manner.    Responsibilities: 1. Provides oversight of project crew activities to ensure personnel safety. 2. Monitors the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures. 3. Must read and understand P&ids and other construction drawings.  4. Ensures all safety codes, requirements and standards of work comply. 5. Works with client to oversee the implementation of work packages, from estimation to final closeout and testing. 6. Ensures work is coordinated with other work groups to ensure proper planning and safety.  7. Has thorough understanding of LOTO, confined space, line breaks, rigging, lifting, and other maintenance and construction activities.  Reviews same prior to work commencement.  8. Communicates with project management and updates regularly of project status. 9. Anticipates potential problems and recommends solutions or corrective actions. 10. Monitors scheduled work to be performed, performs routine quality and safety audits, and reviews work accomplished with appropriate personnel. Records and reports on any rework. 11.  Participates in hiring process of project crew candidates. 12.  Manages employees through goal setting, ongoing assessment, and coaching. 13.  Investigates and reports all incidents, near misses, and stop works.  Develops corrective actions and ensures they are implemented and followed. 14.  Exhibits professional conduct and leadership traits always. 15.  Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.   16.  Other duties as assigned.   Experience: Must have at least 5 years of supervisory experience in industrial maintenance, construction, or a combination of both.  1068872

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
